Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

About the role:

This is a junior position in our kitchen team, designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the culinary industry.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior chefs and be responsible for assisting with food preparation, supporting meal prep and service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, receiving and organizing deliveries, rotating stock and discarding expired items, and plating and presenting dishes as instructed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior chefs in preparing ingredients
  • Support during meal prep and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Receive and organize deliveries
  • Rotate stock and discard expired items
  • Plate and present dishes as instructed

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • BASIC CULINARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Able to follow instructions and recipes
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Teamwork and communication abilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours
  • Culinary certification or diploma (preferred but not always required)
