As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will work closely with senior designers to craft consistent, intuitive interfaces for our learning products. You will gain hands-on experience with design systems, learn industry-standard tools and methods, and participate in user testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with design system maintenance by updating Figma components, tokens, and documentation.
  • Supporting UI production by creating layout variations, states, and lightweight prototypes under senior direction.
  • Participating in user testing by observing usability sessions and assisting in synthesizing findings for design iterations.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally by attending stand-ups and design critiques with product, engineering, and content teams.
  • Upholding accessibility standards by learning WCAG principles and applying them to interface tweaks and redlines.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools (coursework or personal projects acceptable).
  • Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
