Cloud Systems Engineer

Job Title: Cloud Engineer

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • They will be responsible for implementing best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases and Lambda functions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement disaster recovery solutions and ensure high availability of cloud services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., ECS, EKS).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
