Senior Data Architect

  • Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Design and optimize data architectures for scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Apply best practices in data management, storage, and processing.
  • Conduct performance tuning of storage and queries for optimal efficiency.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and flows.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud-based data solutions for scalability and cost-efficiency.
  • Research and evaluate emerging data tools and technologies for potential adoption.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data engineering.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
  • Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems.
  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and design of scalable systems.
  • Solid hands-on experience with ETL tools and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming/scripting languages.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data quality measures and data governance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
