Senior Application Security Specialist Job DescriptionThis role focuses on ensuring the security and integrity of applications through various measures.Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, conduct, and close comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for web applications, APIs, mobile apps, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Perform manual and automated security assessments, review application code, and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing is required.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP Top 10, OSSTMM, OQASP, CESG, CREST, NIST, ISSAF, and PTES is essential.
  • Expertise in secure development lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modeling, secure coding practices, and security assessments, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in static and dynamic application security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST) and software composition analysis (SCA) is required.
  • Experience conducting secure code reviews and identifying logic flaws in code bases written in Java, .NET, C/C++, Python, etc., is essential.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic protocols, secure communication, data security, and key management is necessary.
