As a leader in the field of credit management, this role requires an individual to oversee a team of Credit Managers. Your team members will be responsible for handling various tasks related to credit protection, including assessment and underwriting of mortgage loan applications.

The primary function of this position is to ensure that all credit-related activities are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes end-to-end credit underwriting and disbursal of mortgage & home loan retail loans.

  • Credit assessment and underwriting of mortgage loan applications involves evaluating the creditworthiness of applicants, ensuring adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) norms, credit bureau assessment, and financials.
  • Disbursal of Mortgage Loans requires meticulous attention to detail, including all checks and verifications to ensure that loans are disbursed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • This role also involves coordination with various stakeholders, including legal, technical, and processing vendors, as well as training them on processes and policies.
  • In-person meetings and discussions with clients are essential in building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Maintaining the processing Turn Around Time (TAT) is crucial in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Additionally, this role requires participation in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Effective vendor management, including quality monitoring, is also a key aspect of this role.
