Job Title

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of our big data platform. This individual will be responsible for creating a highly-scalable and extensible infrastructure that collects, stores, models, and analyzes massive data sets from multiple channels.

About the Role
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists.
  • Align business initiatives with key client objectives.
  • Interface daily with customers to understand strategic requirements.
  • Travel to client locations to facilitate collaboration and understanding.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and evolve distributed components using Big Data technologies.
  • Experience in application development and support, integration development, and data management.
  • Provide technical leadership and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Guiding developers in design and coding tasks.
  • Play a key role in hiring technical talents to build the future of our organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technology to ensure the greatest ROI for our clients and organization.
  • Hands-on coder with good understanding of enterprise-level code.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of relevant work experience in computer science or related field.
  • Experience in architecture and delivery of Enterprise-scale applications.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping large-scale engineering products.
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets from various sources.
  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or similar stack.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse set of engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
