Enterprise Data Risk Engineer

Job Description:

As an Enterprise Data Risk (EDR) Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating new vulnerabilities, as well as performing risk analysis for Infrastructure. This encompasses:

  • Maintaining key metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on Infrastructure Security.
  • Ensuring vulnerability assessments are conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls in applications, middleware, databases, networks, and operating systems.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of configurations against CIS benchmarks and security standards.
  • Ensuring all hardening and patching activities are carried out and tracked according to defined policies.

Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and updating hardening documents, building audit files for automated testing, and conducting security penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities. They will also possess experience with EDR solutions, including deployment, configuration, management, and integration in enterprise or hybrid environments.

Moreover, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud environment activities, such as Azure/GCP/AWS, and perform vulnerability assessment & penetration testing for networks, applications, APIs, and cloud assets along with Red & Purple Team assessments.

They will be accountable for safeguarding information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats, proactively creating, sharing, and analyzing reports as part of penetration testing activities, and utilizing threat intelligence to identify new threats in the environment.
