Strategic Merchandise Manager

The primary focus of this role is to lead and manage the strategic direction for merchandise planning, procurement, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise Planning: Develop and execute seasonal plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels across all channels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking, while maintaining efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate best prices, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and improve supply chain processes, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in merchandise planning, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
