Job Title: Strategic Merchandise Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Merchandise Manager to lead our merchandise team in driving business growth through effective procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.

About the Role:

  • To develop and manage buyer accounts, focusing on long-term relationships and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Procurement of orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Provide inputs to design teams for collections, aligning with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Tap into networks and current buyers to secure new orders at competitive prices.
  • Maintain close communication with factory management and buyers to stay updated on market trends and changes.
  • Keep the office informed about industry developments and shifts in buyer behavior.
  • Analyze buyer purchasing patterns and financial conditions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ability to provide tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
  • Collaborate with production, dispatch, and quality departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and maintain a high level of professionalism.
