IT Infrastructure Management Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Systems Engineer. This is a full-time and permanent position based in India, offering regional coverage and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our IT Operations Department.

  • As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with peers, IT Regional Managers, and OPS teams.">

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">">
  • Act as a point of escalation for daily operational issues related to IT Infrastructure.">
  • Oversee operational tasks and ensure proper documentation is maintained.">
  • Work closely with the business to address changes or requests for new services.">
  • Provide support in resolving incidents, service requests, and problems.">
  • Execute resolution of all incidents and problem inquiries.">
  • Ensure continuity in service provision and restore required services in case of disruptions.">
  • Manage third-party vendors for incident management through to resolution.">
  • Check technical conditions of IT equipment and landscape.">
  • Build/provision IT hardware (servers, storage, etc.).">
  • Maintain and update systems periodically as required by vendors, compliance, or lifecycle management.">
  • Monitor and report on system performance, taking corrective action when necessary.">
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.">
  • Support internal office moves as required.">
  • Keep up-to-date documentation and tasks for audit purposes.">
  • Participate actively in IT Infrastructure-related projects as needed.">
  • Act as first-line support on the Infra team, establishing good relationships with 2nd and 3rd line support groups.">
  • Participate in information and knowledge sharing within the team.">
  • Acquire understanding of Vistra procedures and technical landscape to drive customer issues to timely and efficient resolution.">
  • Understand and comply with Vistra Information Security and Compliance Framework and guidelines.">
  • Continuously improve services delivered.">

  • Relevant Experience:">
  • 8-10 years of IT experience in similar roles of IT Infrastructure management and Wintel Administration.">
  • Service delivery, client orientation, and customer service skills.">
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting skills.">
  • Full coverage to support business hours.">
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.">
  • Working knowledge of ITIL compliance standards and successful methods to integrate them into corporate compliance processes.">
  • ITIL certification beneficial.">
  • Excellent English language proficiency.">
  • Experience working in global teams and across different jurisdictions.">
