Job Description:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure architectures for Citrix technologies to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end solution design using Citrix products, including Virtual Apps and Desktops, ADC, and Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services.
  • Citrix Integration Design and integrate Citrix products with Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create comprehensive virtual desktop solutions.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop Configuration Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.
  • Identity and Access Management Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.
  • Network Infrastructure Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Performance Optimization Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Security and Compliance Implement security measures to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor virtual desktop infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience as a Citrix Architect designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services and proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Experience in network design, identity and access management concepts, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
