Medical Device Development Opportunity

The role of a Medical Device R&D Engineer is to design, develop, and test medical devices. This includes creating prototypes, conducting feasibility studies, and optimizing device performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative medical devices, including implantable devices, diagnostic equipment, and infusion pumps.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies to determine the viability of new medical device ideas.
  • Optimize device performance through rigorous testing and simulation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Implement design controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of device specifications, including user manuals and instruction guides.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in medical device development or related field.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
