Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage the purchasing function across our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and experience in direct purchasing, negotiation, and vendor development. Additionally, they should have 8-10 years of purchasing experience and procurement work under their belt.

The role involves buying and institutional purchases for schools, vendor development, and end-to-end purchase procedures. This includes PR, PO, CS, quotation collection, negotiation of rates, work execution, GRN, bill, and invoice management.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders/teams and agencies, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), and annual procurement contracts (APCs). They will oversee project management, including new procurements, replacements, local, and central purchases.

This individual must be able to travel within the region and provide support to school operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as knowledge of the local language, are essential.

• BE Civil or MBA preferred
• Strong Negotiation Skills
• 8-10 years of Purchasing Experience
