Procurement Specialist

Job Title:

This role involves overseeing the procurement process for a CBSE school network. The ideal candidate will have expertise in purchasing and vendor management, with a strong focus on negotiation and project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Purchasing and managing vendors for CBSE schools
• Negotiating rates and executing purchase procedures
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Managing annual maintenance contracts and procurement contracts
• Project managing new procurements and replacements
• Assisting school operations and database management

Requirements:

• BE Civil or equivalent with MBA preferred
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in direct purchase and vendor development
• 8-10 years of purchasing experience and procurement work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel within the region
