Job Role: Senior PHP Developer Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer Lead to spearhead the implementation of complex software projects using PHP and related technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior developers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code is delivered through thorough reviews and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address them.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices.
  • Documentation: Ensure technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained.

Requirements:

  • Strong PHP Skills: Experience in core PHP and object-oriented programming principles.
  • CodeIgniter Expertise: Experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Database Management: Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases.
  • Frontend Development: Solid knowledge of JavaScript for both client-side functionality and integration with backend services.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for both consuming and creating endpoints.
