Financial Operations Specialist

As a key player in our organization's financial operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls. You will conduct control testing as part of the Control Monitoring Program to provide reasonable assurance that our internal controls over financial reporting are designed and operating effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough reviews designed to evaluate risk and test internal controls through an understanding of key business processes, as well as identify opportunities for best practices and improvements.
  • Determine alternative solutions to problems, evaluate courses of action and relevant areas of risk/opportunity, and reach sound business decisions.
  • Document accurate, logical, and detailed workpapers that clearly and thoughtfully describe the review objective, test procedures, and results, and conclusions reached utilizing internal audit methodologies, procedures, and standards.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO framework, and leading business practices.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, either within the Big 4 Audit Firm or in a multi-national organization.
  • Prior experience within Risk & Compliance or Internal Control role, finance experience is highly valued.

Preferred qualifications include a high level of customer focus, ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
