Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality data and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

The Data Analyst will support in delivering exceptional results for our clients, capturing data and analyzing it to inform business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience, firm decision-making abilities, and experience with Microsoft suite particularly managing data in Excel and SharePoint. SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, and Tableau skills are beneficial, but not required. The successful candidate will be required to collaborate with our global regions on the rollout of our internal systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data capture, organization, storage, and analysis for creating and maintaining cost indices and escalation.
  • Keep construction project cost database up-to-date, including data capture, cleaning, organization, storage, and analysis.
  • Manage large amounts of data in Excel.
  • Collaborate with cost estimators/quantity surveyors to fill in holes in data.
  • Contribute to the process for collection, capture, and utilization of historic data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience.
  • Firm decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have experience in data analysis and data management.
  • Must understand IT technology including Intranet, MS Windows, MS Office Suites.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite particularly managing data in Excel and SharePoint preferred.
  • SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, and Tableau skills beneficial.
  • Attention to details.
  • Experience managing and analysing large data sets will be beneficial.
  • Interest or experience in construction industry or how things go together.
  • Motivated to work independently and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Dedication to current/continued pursuit of registrations.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
