Job Title: Category Manager - Fashion

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Category Manager - Fashion to join our team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our apparel categories, driving business growth across seasons.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills, as well as a sharp eye for product, pricing, and consumer trends in apparel. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and e-commerce, to launch new products and drive visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. P&L & Revenue Management
    • Own profitability at the category level
    • Plan pricing, discounts, and margins aligned with growth targets
    • Identify growth levers and monitor revenue performance
  2. Inventory Planning & Control
    • Forecast demand based on data, seasonality, and trends
    • Ensure healthy inventory levels to reduce stock-outs and dead stock
    • Partner with sourcing and production for timely replenishments
  3. Assortment Strategy & Sales Planning
    • Build collections that align with customer demand and brand identity
    • Plan product mix across price points, characters, and collections
    • Track SKU-level performance to boost conversions and sell-through
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with design on seasonal directions and briefs
    • Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce for launches and visibility
    • Share insights and reports with the team and leadership
Requirements:
  1. Experience in Category Management, Buying, or Merchandising (fashion/D2C preferred)
  2. Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills
  3. A sharp eye for product, pricing, and consumer trends in apparel
  4. Ability to manage fast-paced timelines and multiple stakeholders
  5. Marketplace experience (Amazon, Myntra, AJIO, etc.) is a plus
