Lead Physician Biller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage end-to-end physician billing processes for healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full-cycle physician billing process
- Submitting claims accurately and on time using platforms like OHIP, MSP, AHCP, and other provincial systems
- Identifying and resolving claim rejections or underpayments
- Staying up to date with changes in provincial billing codes, rules, and regulations
- Generating billing performance reports and ensuring accuracy in monthly reconciliations
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Canadian physician billing
- Strong knowledge of billing systems: OHIP, MSP, AHCP, RAMQ, etc.
- Familiarity with EMRs and billing software (.e.g., OSCAR, ACCURO, TELUS HEALTH, MD BILLING)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred qualifications include experience in multi-specialty physician billing, prior leadership or team management experience, and certified medical billing training.
