Job Description:

A seasoned professional is sought after to fill the role of Solution Architect and Presales Lead. This individual will be responsible for driving sales cycles by understanding industry and customer needs, as well as creating technical, functional, and commercial solution contexts that transform customer requirements into specific solution architectures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), with experience in discrete industries such as auto, aerospace, and complex or hybrid manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include supporting sales activities, creating proposals and solutions, collaborating with geography portfolio and segment teams, leading short-term strategic consulting projects, analyzing competitor strengths and weaknesses, working with product vendors, and supporting industry analyst audits.

  • Support sales cycle by understanding industry/customer needs and MOM/MES value proposition.
  • Create technical, functional, and commercial solution context, transforming customer RFP/RFI requirements into specific solution architecture & design.
  • Present proposals and solutions to customer stakeholders - Manufacturing/Business Director/architects, Enterprise architect, CXO.
  • Collaborate with geography portfolio and segment teams to sell smart factory /MES/MOM offerings to target accounts.
  • Lead short-term strategic consulting projects in MOM and MES areas.
  • Analyze strengths and weaknesses against competitors in target industries.
  • Work with product vendors to define solutions and mature practices.
  • Support industry analyst audits and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution System/Manufacturing Operation Management in discrete industries (Auto/Aero/complex or hybrid manufacturing).
  • Minimum 5 years in presales and solutioning Manufacturing Execution System, Manufacturing Operation Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading presales activities for MES/MOM practice.
  • End-to-end MES/MOM implementation experience including machine connectivity, ERP, and system connectivity for large multi-sites, multi-geography, and multi-business process/modules (Planning & Scheduling, Production, Quality, Warehouse, Manufacturing Intelligence).
  • Experience with end-to-end implementation of MES/MOM products like DS Apriso, SAP ME/DMC, or Siemens OpsCenter - Discrete.
  • Knowledge of international standards like MESA, ISA 95.
  • Manufacturing consulting experience required.
  • Business orientation and consulting mindset essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
