API Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design, development and maintenance of APIs using IBM API Connect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and manage APIs using IBM API Connect.
  • Configure and maintain the API Gateway and Developer Portal.
  • Integrate APIs with backend systems such as databases, SOAP/REST services and cloud services.
  • Ensure API security through OAuth, JWT, API Keys and other authentication methods.
  • Manage the full API lifecycle: creation, deployment, versioning and retirement.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, backend developers and QA teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and issues.
  • Document API specifications using Open API/Swagger.
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect v10.x (preferred) or earlier versions.
  • Proficiency in JSON, XML, YAML and scripting (JavaScript, Node.js).
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT and other security protocols.
  • Experience with backend integration (Databases, MQ, Web Services).
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with API analytics and monitoring tools.
