Business Process Automation Specialist

Global Business Services delivers technology and operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America. It operates through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and resilient operations. In India, we have five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary.

Global Finance was set up in 2007 to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include accounts payable, general accounting, reconciliations, management reporting, analysis, research, analytics, financial transaction processing, finance systems support, and regulatory reporting.

The CFO Change Automation team aims to drive opportunity assessment, prioritization, and process automation across all verticals of CFO. This position will manage the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from a functional leader perspective.

This person will assist business teams to expedite implementation of automated solutions through collaboration with other CFO and Enterprise Architecture teams. They will lead, manage, and deliver on the end-to-end scope of Automation initiatives. This individual will get significant exposure to senior stakeholders across CFO through leading initiative routines.

The role requires strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts, good understanding of Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva, SharePoint, VB, SQL, Data Modeling, and other newly upcoming technologies. Supporting the development of an automation opportunity assessment framework and associated automation tool selection criteria is also essential.

Partnering with senior stakeholders across different lines of business is critical. Experience in analytics, automation, and reporting is necessary, along with intermediate to advanced knowledge of tools such as Alteryx and Tableau, UiPath, Workiva, Power pivot, SharePoint Visual Basic, SQL, and others.

Excellent understanding of other programming languages such as SQL, Python, and VBA is strongly preferred. Strong collaboration and relationship management skills are necessary to drive change. Prior experience with self-service tools such as Alteryx and Tableau, UiPath, RPA, Power pivot, Workiva, and others is also desirable.

Proven ability to work with system tools in complex environments and good understanding of business processes are essential. Flexible work timings between 11:30 am to 8:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm are available.
