Highly Skilled Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled software development engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Browser Technology team, you will play a vital role in building and scaling the next secure web browser experience for users.
Your Key Responsibilities- Review product specifications and develop comprehensive test plans for assigned areas in the Engineering team for Browser Technology
- Develop expertise in cloud security solutions and use that expertise to help design and qualify the solution as a whole
- Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution by designing test plans with clear separation of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests to ensure application quality
- Build state-of-the-art tools to improve the testing process
- Work closely with the development and design teams to create an amazing user experience
- Help create and implement quality processes and requirements
- Work closely with the team to replicate customer environments
- Identify and communicate risks about our releases, looking beyond your specific area of responsibility and ensuring our solutions deliver value to our customers
- Owning and making quality decisions for the solution
- 10+ years of experience in the field of SDET, with a proven track record showing you are highly motivated and capable of coming up with creative, innovative, and working solutions in a collaborative environment
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Go, or JavaScript
- Experience working with Web Engines and modern browsers is highly valued
- Experience testing distributed systems
- A proponent of Strong Quality Engineering methodology
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
- Experience building automation frameworks
- Knowledge of Web languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins or Drone
- Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative regarding issues and decisions
- An energetic self-starter with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to wear multiple hats
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
