Job Title: Printed Circuit Board Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-speed PCB layout, schematic interpretation, and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create complex layouts ensuring signal and power integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyse technical requirements and customer input to execute Layout Engineering.
  • Design layouts for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors.
  • Implement design guidelines from industry standards.
  • Create libraries following IPC design standards.
  • Place components with expertise in analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuitry.
  • Route high-speed nets using blind & buried vias.
  • Set physical, spacing, and electrical constraints.
  • Read schematics independently.
  • Understand Signal Integrity and Power Integrity concepts.
  • Work with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses.
  • Document PCB Guidelines, Processes, and Checklists.
  • Consider thermal impact in design placement.
  • Analyse DFM, DFA, DFS, and DFT.
  • Generate Gerber and ODB++ files.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Allegro/Expedition PCB Design.
  • Skillful in researching manufacturing datasheets.
  • Experience with high pin count parts, QFN modules, BGAs, and connectors.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout guidelines and standards.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Flexible team player with adaptability.
