Job Title: Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to drive Murex activities and projects.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for gathering requirements, performing impact analysis, developing and supporting change requests, projects, and new product development in Murex.

  • Gather and document project requirements through stakeholder meetings, workshops, and research.
  • Develop a detailed project plan including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical support to customers, ensuring successful follow-up of issues from notification to resolution and validation.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design Trade workflows and interfaces to establish communication between external platforms and Murex, receiving trade and other data feeds, processing them, saving into the system, and sending an acknowledgement.
  2. Use a combination of MxML Exchange, MxOpenConnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to deliver successful solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages, such as Install, Deploy, and Test Murex Packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface tool), Markitwire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers.
Requirements:
  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Murex, focusing on Datamart and Interface Datamart - Reports Development, Batch of Feeders/ extractions OR Interface - MxML Interface, Workflow.
  • Experience in building, configuring, and testing reports/interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Murex DataModel, Dynamic Tables, and Viewers.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange.
  • Proficient programming skills in Java (Apache Camel).
  • Familiarity with SQL, XML, Linux, Unix system commands, and Shell Scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to handle multiple projects, priorities, and manage business expectations.
  • Able to work within a team environment and focused on providing high-quality service to clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
