IT Asset Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Professional to join our team.

About the Role:
  • This position is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and the ability to train and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee accurate inventory tracking, asset optimization, and governance processes.
  • Software Asset Management: Lead programs to ensure license compliance, audit readiness, and effective vendor management.
  • Cloud Insights: Implement practices to monitor, optimize, and report on cloud consumption and costs.
  • Configuration Management: Maintain and govern Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset repositories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IT governance standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams for cost-effective asset management and reporting.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits, reconciliations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate IT asset-related risks.
  • Training and Development: Train, coach, and mentor fresh graduates and junior IT staff on ITAM processes, compliance, and tools.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ITAM principles, tools, and best practices. Excellent communication, training, and mentoring skills.
