Your Impact
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on PayPal's business. You will be responsible for conducting quantitative analyses to drive credit risk strategies for PayPal credit card products. You will mine data covering a wide range of information from user profiles to transaction details to solve complex risk problems that involve classification, clustering, pattern analysis, sampling, and simulations. You will leverage data to support PayPal's Cobrand Card business program and insights via monitoring and reporting, utilizing scalable and flexible platforms.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a Master's degree with 1-4 years of professional experience in related fields. You must have a data-driven mindset with a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics. Proven experience in employing quantitative analyses to solve real-world problems is essential. You should be proficient in data mining and familiar with SQL, BigQuery, SAS, Python, and other big data tools. Intuitive, organized, analytical thinking skills are also required, as well as good written and verbal communication skills to influence cross-functional teams spanning multiple geographical locations.
