Senior Piping Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead piping design and layout activities for complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in piping, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement piping design solutions that meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, structural, mechanical, and instrumentation experts.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality benchmarks, and client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior designers.
  • Handle global client interactions professionally, capturing requirements and delivering effective design solutions.
  • Good understanding of client requirements, carrying out design-related tasks based on inputs.
  • Knowledge of marine classification society standards and rules.
  • Good communication skills for working individually and as part of a team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design packages, adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify risks and deviations, propose solutions, and maintain design integrity.
  • Collaborate with procurement vendors to ensure equipment/piping interface requirements are met.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries.
  • Prepare design documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client standards, international codes, and classification society rules.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in engineering or a relevant qualification.
  • Experience in piping design, preferably with years of experience.
  • Background in Marine/Offshore projects is highly desirable.
Software Skills
  • AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Recap.
  • Navisworks Manage.
  • Parametric modeling tools.
  • Ai Tools any.
