About this role

  • We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading the conceptualization and design of interior projects, developing and presenting project proposals, concepts, and designs to clients, and ensuring all design elements meet quality standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Lead the conceptualization and design of interior projects. Develop and present project proposals, concepts, and designs to clients.
  • Client Interaction: Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints. Provide expert advice and solutions in line with client expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other designers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior designers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all design elements meet Chattels Designs quality standards and client expectations.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends in interior design, materials, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Exceptional design and spatial planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in both residential and commercial projects.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers.
