Lead Cassandra Database Architect

As a Lead Cassandra Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance data models and schemas to support business growth. Your expertise in NoSQL databases and experience with DataStax Enterprise (DSE) platform will ensure seamless data management and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data models and resource plans to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data optimization and performance improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance existing database systems to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Analyze complex data sets to develop insights and recommendations for data-driven decision making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our database solutions remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in handling No SQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of the Data Stax Enterprise (DSE) platform and Cassandra architecture.
  • Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting DataStax Enterprise (DSE) Cassandra clusters.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Backup and restore/Recover strategies.
  • Strong database administration experience specifically using Cassandra Performance tuning of Cassandra clusters to support high read/write throughput while minimizing latency.
