Oracle Utilities Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Utilities expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the C2M suite, including Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), Service and Asset-based architecture within C2M, Field Service Integration, Smart Grid Gateway, and meter-to-cash processes.

  • Billing, meter reads, usage processing, VEE, exceptions handling, service orders
  • Strong understanding of Customer Information Systems (CIS), MDM, and utility operations
Technical Skills

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical skillset, including:

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, and Oracle MFT
  • Familiarity with Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of head-end system integration, AMI, and SCADA data flows
  • Strong experience in data modeling, batch processing, schema design, and validation rules within Oracle Utilities applications
  • Understanding of Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, and performance optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of role-based access control, security policies, and data privacy standards
Architectural and Leadership Skills

The successful candidate will also possess excellent architectural and leadership skills, including:

  • Enterprise utility architecture design experience
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and architecture blueprints
  • Proven track record of delivering Oracle Utilities solutions in large-scale utility implementations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Capability to lead cross-functional teams and conduct architecture reviews and workshops
  • Risk identification and mitigation planning in solution delivery
  • Exposure to cloud migration strategies and hybrid models
