Operations Director

This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic and operational initiatives management in India, leading a team across commercial, technical, and support functions.
The ideal candidate will drive business growth through value-based selling, emphasize the company's technical strength and global capabilities, and build strong relationships with key global pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for growth and expansion in new markets.
- Manage a high-performing team to achieve commercial, technical, and operational objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in oncology, injectables, and other high-value API segments.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure seamless execution of global business strategies.
- Travel extensively for business development, client meetings, plant visits, and international collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory shifts, and market needs to inform strategic direction.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of leadership experience in the API/pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in a senior commercial or general management role.
- Proven track record of managing and growing international client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the API development and manufacturing lifecycle, particularly in oncology and injectables.
- Excellent business acumen, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively, both within India and internationally.
