Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to fill the role of Junior Civil Engineer. This position involves managing and overseeing construction activities on site.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Resolve minor design and technical details with contractors and architects, promoting collaborative relationships.
  • Manage local contractors and ensure high standards of workmanship, maintaining quality control.
  • Accurately record materials, labour, and progress on site, providing valuable insights for project improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to key stakeholders through charts, emails, and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and effectively manage site logistics.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential for resolving on-site issues effectively.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, designs, and specifications is necessary.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously are highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
