Financial Linguist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Linguist to provide language support and ensure seamless communication with French-speaking stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating financial documents, invoices, and communications from French to English and vice versa, as well as liaising with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Language Support: Translate and interpret financial documents, invoices, and communications from French to English and vice versa.
  • Liaise with French-speaking vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies, monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, maintain accurate records of financial transactions and correspondence.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in French (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in finance operations or shared services.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
