Toys Category Strategist

Role Overview:

• Manage and grow the Toys category by partnering with leading brands to expand their presence across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels.
• Oversee the end-to-end brand lifecycle for global brands, driving their expansion in international markets.
• Develop and maintain a curated portfolio of brands specializing in the Toys category.
• Drive brand growth through assortment optimization, improve underperforming SKUs, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance brand performance.
• Contribute to a robust omnichannel presence across Ecommerce and offline channels as feasible.
• Ensure profitability and scalability through effective margin management and GMV contribution.

Key Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and eCommerce and at least 2+ years in the Toys category.
• Deep understanding of consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier networks specific to the Toys industry.
• Expertise in category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers within marketplace/retail selling.
• Demonstrated success in scaling assortment and managing SKU lifecycles.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across brand, operations, technology, and analytics teams.
