Job Title: Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our team at Gateway HR Consultants Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have strong development skills in Java JDK 1.8 or above, experience with Microservices and Spring boot, and a thorough understanding of OOPS concepts and design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and build extremely reliable, scalable, and high-performing web applications for our clients.
  2. Review and understand business requirements ensuring that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects.
  3. Collaborate across the company and interact with our customers to define, design, and showcase new concepts and solutions.
  4. Collaborate with other developers to ensure that client needs are met at all times.
  5. Work in a rapid and agile development process to enable increased speed to market against a backdrop of appropriate controls.
  6. Implement good development and testing standards to ensure the quality of deliverables.

Required Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of strong development skills in Java JDK 1.8 or above.
  • Experience of Microservices and Spring boot.
  • Experience in data structures, algorithms, Multithreading, Concurrent Package, Java Memory Management and Concurrent APIs, message broker tools like, Active, Rabbit, Kafka.
  • Thorough understanding of OOPS concepts, Design principles and implementation of different type of Design patterns.
  • Basic understanding of Java Memory Management (JMM) including garbage collections concepts.
  • Experience in RDBMS or NO SQL databases and writing SQL queries (Joins, group by, aggregate functions, etc.)
  • Hands - on experience in creating RESTful webservices and consuming webservices.
