Senior Backend Engineer

We're building a next-gen personal finance application for Gen Z. Our mission is to transform bank transactions into smart insights and goals users actually act on.

  • In this role, you will design and evolve Postgres schemas/migrations; implement efficient queries, cursor pagination, and Redis caching for hot reads.
  • You'll enforce input validation (AJV/Zod), structured logs (pino), and distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry).

About the Role:

  • We require 5+ years of experience with Node/TypeScript backends, Postgres databases, and message queues (SQS/Rabbit/etc.).
  • A strong grasp of idempotency, retries/backoff, cursor pagination, error design, and API performance is essential.
  • You should be comfortable with Docker, GitHub Actions, and observability basics (logs/metrics/traces).
