Workday Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our offshore group, you will play a critical role in implementing and configuring Workday solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business analyst skills combined with Workday functional expertise. You should be able to understand complex business processes, translate them into effective Workday configurations, and communicate seamlessly with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Workday HCM and relevant modules, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in Agile environments and sprint planning is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product management to understand requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into Workday configurations, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules as per business requirements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Workday configurations and support change management activities.
  • Act as an anchor resource for the offshore team and provide leadership in establishing processes, governance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a business analyst or functional consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
