A Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with Expertise in Automated Testing

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing quality processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, functionality, and reliability prior to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated testing tools and scripts to enhance the customer experience
  • Design and maintain functional test cases, system & integration test cases, and test artifacts used in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to validate product functionality and report results following established test architectures and project processes
  • Track and analyze metrics such as velocity, code quality, defect density, and testing efficiency across all phases and report to management
  • Document testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce defects
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide quality assurance sign-off and execute testing duties as assigned
  • Design and configure QA performance/load test frameworks to ensure high-performance software environments under load
  • Integrate client feedback into test scripts to mimic end-user behavior in QA
  • Identify and report bugs and enhancements to the Agile squad

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of application testing experience
  • Proven expertise in use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of relational database models and GUI tools for interacting with them
  • Experience working in Agile environments and exposure to bug tracking and test case management tools
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for building high-quality products

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI, and REST API testing
  • Experience with creating automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and REST API
  • Knowledge of API testing using JSON and REST, with proficiency in tools like Postman and JMeter
