SAP FICA Consultant Job Description

As a motivated and detail-oriented SAP FICA Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP FICA module. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in SAP FICA/RAR who is eager to grow their expertise in subscription-based and service-driven financial processes.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Revenue Collection and Allocation: Assist in configuring and supporting SAP FICA processes for revenue collection and allocation, ensuring seamless integration with RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) for IFRS 15/ASC 606 compliance.
  • Subscription Billing and Invoicing: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and support subscription billing and invoicing processes within SAP FICA.
  • Contract Accounting: Work closely with ABAP teams to develop functional specifications for enhancements and configure contract accounting within SAP FICA.
  • Dunning and Collections: Participate in requirement gathering, system testing, UAT, and go-live activities to ensure efficient dunning and collections processes.
  • Bulk Payments and Payment Run Execution: Support the execution of bulk payments and payment runs within SAP FICA, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze issues and propose solutions, as well as work closely with other teams to ensure end-to-end revenue management.
