Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Tender Manager to oversee the tender proposal process for high-rise building design engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting competitive bids for design engineering services related to high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project requirements, timelines, and client expectations to develop a comprehensive bid strategy and timeline.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of tender proposals for high-rise building design engineering projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of submitted bids materials, effectively reflecting the latest company trends and offerings.
Proposal Development & Coordination
  • Prepare a comprehensive design proposal that includes conceptual designs, technical specifications, engineering solutions, and compliance with internal governance processes and relevant building codes and standards.
  • Draft and finalize bid documents, ensuring the proposal is aligned with clients' requirements and expectations.
Cost Estimation & Financial Management
  • Develop cost estimates and fee tools related to design engineering services, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure the bid accounts for all aspects of the design engineering process, from initial concept to detailed design and final implementation.
Risk & Compliance Management
  • Identify potential critical risks during the tender process and develop risk mitigation strategies in discussion with Project managers.
  • Ensure that all proposals comply with Business Integrity policies, sustainability goals, and strategy, and are within legal terms and conditions.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Act as the primary point of contact during the bidding process, addressing client queries and concerns.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the bidding process to ensure alignment on project scope, design goals, and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering, architecture, structural engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in bid management or tendering for high-rise building design engineering projects.
  • Proven experience in preparing and submitting proposals for large-scale high-rise building design projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant design engineering software and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
