Chief Procurement Officer

As a seasoned Sourcing & Supplier Development leader, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the team in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement cost-effective sourcing and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify and develop new suppliers for precision-machined components; evaluate supplier capabilities, quality systems, and production capacity.
- Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing, process improvements, and vendor consolidation.
- Manage procurement of engineering components, engineering controls, and electrical drives for large-size machines.
- Oversee supplier development, vendor negotiations, and warranty claims management with back-to-back warranty arrangements.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services at optimum cost, quality, and timelines for machine and mold production.
- Provide expertise and advisory support for vendor development for new and existing projects.
Candidate Profile
Qualification and Experience- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 18–25 years of core supply chain management experience.
- Minimum 10+ years heading complete Sourcing & Supplier Development function.
- Strong background in tool room or machine-building industry.
- Age: 42–45 years.
- Preferred: Experience in capital equipment or project-based procurement, including Mother Machines selection, negotiation, and purchase.
