The role you'll be taking on will report directly to the OTC Cash Application Supervisor. You'll collaborate closely with the collections team to identify and resolve issues related to unapplied cash records, process client payments accurately, and respond to internal customer inquiries.

You'll also link up with the cash and banks team to follow up on bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate account balance processing. Your responsibility will extend to monitoring and responding to AR and Accounting Mailboxes, maintaining zero unapplied cash, and adhering to compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and apply incoming payments from various sources like Live Checks, Credit Cards, Electronic Lockbox, Wire Transfers, etc., for all customer accounts.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and bank accounts to ensure no open items exist.
  • Provide quality customer service to internal customers, addressing their queries professionally.
  • Download daily bank statements, ensuring timely application of cash to customer accounts.

What We Look For

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in any stream
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Experience within a shared services environment supporting North America region is necessary.
  • 2-3 years of experience with OTC domain, preferably working US hours (night shift)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Demonstrates initiative, conscientiousness, attention to detail, and complete follow-through on responsibilities
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Systems proficiency in ERPs (Oracle Ace, Oracle R12, Oracle Fusion) would be beneficial

This position offers an estimated annual salary of $65,000 to $85,000 depending on qualifications and location.
