The Role

As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for brainstorming fresh ideas and turning them into engaging content for our social media channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop original content ideas that align with political and social messaging.
  • Design and produce high-quality graphics and short-form videos.
  • Utilize design tools like Canva and mobile-first video editing apps to create and edit content efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, meme formats, and viral content.
  • Adapt content for different social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to ensure all content is factually accurate and aligned with campaign objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Content Creator or similar role.

Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your creative work is essential.

Mastery of Canva: High proficiency in Canva or similar tools is a must.

Video Editing Skills: Experience with mobile video editing apps for creating sharp, fast-paced Reels and Shorts.

Social Media Native: An intuitive understanding of what type of content works and why on different social media platforms.

Speed & Agility: The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Political Interest: A keen interest in and good understanding of Indian politics and current affairs.

Bonus Points

Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

Previous experience creating content in a media (journalism, news reporting), a PR/communications agency, public affairs, or a political/advocacy setting.

Strong copywriting skills for creating catchy captions.

Fluency in English and Hindi.
