Job Overview

This is a pivotal role for an ESG and Carbon Strategy Lead, overseeing the development and implementation of strategies that align with our commitment to environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ESG, carbon markets, and sustainability consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scope 3 Measurement & Methodology
    • Lead the refinement of the carbon measurement algorithm to incorporate improved logic, global emission factors, and sectoral methodologies.
    • Evaluate and ensure alignment with leading global reporting standards, including GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISO, and CDP.
    • Collaborate with product teams to integrate ESG logic into media measurement tools.
  • Carbon Offsetting & Partnerships
    • Identify, assess, and onboard certified carbon credit partners from reputable organizations like Verra and Gold Standard.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with climate-tech companies, sustainability consultants, and certification bodies.
    • Design seamless frameworks for clients to offset Scope 3 emissions.
  • Carbon Credit Exchange Development
    • Define the strategy and roadmap for our carbon credit exchange platform.
    • Research global best practices and regulatory landscapes across various regions.
    • Collaborate with legal, technology, and ESG experts to ensure compliance and scalability.
  • Thought Leadership & Client Advisory
    • Act as the subject matter expert for ESG and carbon solutions, providing insights to clients and stakeholders.
    • Represent us at sustainability forums, industry events, and regulatory meetings.
    • Offer expertise on sustainability trends, carbon markets, and corporate climate commitments.
    Requirements
    • Background
      • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Policy, Economics, or related field.
      • Advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CFA ESG, GHG Accounting) are highly valued.
    • Experience
      • A minimum of 4 years' experience in ESG, sustainability consulting, carbon markets, or corporate sustainability strategy.
      • Experience in tech-driven ESG products is advantageous.
      • Detailed understanding of Scope 3 measurement frameworks and emission factor databases.
      • Familiarity with carbon offset projects and standards (Verra, Gold Standard, UNFCCC).
      • Knowledge of voluntary and compliance carbon markets.
