Device Management Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Device Management Specialist to support and enhance device lifecycle operations within the SAP ISU module.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of utility processes and expertise in managing device operations such as installation, removal, maintenance, and integration with other SAP ISU components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement Device Management functionalities within the SAP ISU module
  • Manage end-to-end device processes including installation, replacement, removal, and disconnection
  • Set up and maintain device master data such as device types, registers, and technical installation

Integration & Process Optimization:

  • Integrate Device Management with SAP ISU modules such as Billing, Meter Reading, and Customer Service
  • Streamline device-related workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance
  • Work on advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and smart device configurations

System Support & Enhancement:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Device Management operations
  • Enhance existing SAP ISU DM functionalities based on business requirements and industry best practices

Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Provide expertise through all project phases including blueprinting, testing, and go-live

Training & Documentation:

  • Conduct training sessions to improve end-user understanding of SAP ISU DM functionalities
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and enhancements

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP ISU Device Management
  • Strong understanding of utility industry processes related to metering and device lifecycle

Technical Skills:

  • Proven expertise in SAP ISU DM configuration and integration
  • Familiarity with SAP ISU components including Billing, Meter Reading, and Work Management
  • Knowledge of AMI and smart metering technologies

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
