Lead Quality Assurance Specialist - Customer Due Diligence
Job Description:The role of the Lead Quality Assurance Specialist is to oversee the quality assurance process for customer due diligence reviews. This involves ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained for all approved and submitted KYC profiles in line with productivity targets and performance level agreements.
As a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist, you will conduct thorough quality checks on KYC reviews completed by analysts for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely completion of KYC reviews of customers within stipulated project deadlines while maintaining high-quality profiles.
You will work closely with the operational team leaders to prioritize workload, meet KYC objectives, and mentor new joiners to bring them up to speed on the process. Additionally, you will proactively highlight audit and compliance issues to management and develop action plans to improve quality scores.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Adaptability to quickly learn new segments and business profiles to perform customer due diligence/enhanced due diligence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in writing risk assessments
- Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data and assess higher-risk attributes
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think from various angles and be proactive
- Experience with AML/KYC tools such as SWIFT KYC Registry, Factiva, Bankers Almanac, RDC, internet research, etc.
- Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and AML risk implications
