Data Quality Assurance for Software Applications

We are looking for a data quality expert to lead our quality assurance efforts in software applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing comprehensive data quality strategies, defining standards and best practices for data quality assurance processes, and profiling and analyzing data across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data quality initiatives aligned with business objectives.

• Define and enforce data quality standards and best practices.

• Analyze data to identify issues related to accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.

• Design and implement data quality checks and controls.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data quality.

• Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and trends.

• Maintain documentation on data quality issues and resolutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of data quality analysts or engineers.

• Provide guidance on data quality best practices and ensure the team's professional development.

• Collaborate with technology teams to define and develop solutions.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ Years of Experience in Data Test Automation, Data Comparison and Validation.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, databases, DB Procedures, Packages, and Functions.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and platforms for profiling, cleansing, and monitoring data.
  • Proficient in SQL and scripting languages for data analysis and validation.
  • Working experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL Alchemy for ETL.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve data quality issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team focused on data quality.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of data quality initiatives.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Awareness of data security principles and practices.
  • Understanding machine learning concepts.
  • Experience working in an ecommerce company.
