Job Opportunity: Production Planning Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production plans, material plans, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization strategies to enhance service levels.
  • Compile and analyze data pertinent to creating constrained engineering plans and production schedules, using rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, and linking it to demand plans.
  • Optimize production schedule adherence and production scheduling.

Accountability:

  • Conduct regular review processes on MRP, Master Plans, and facilitate meetings for production scheduling with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Focus on MRP Planning, identify capacity constraints, and recommend short-term and long-term solutions to mitigate bottlenecks.
  • Assess the impact of production plans on expected inventory levels, including Sales in Excess (SIE), monitor WIP, suggest WIP rationalization initiatives, and work towards achieving production schedule adherence for customer on-time delivery.
  • Identify key root causes for deviations from production plans and implement initiatives to improve plan adherence.
  • Collaborate to refine 7-S (SAP System) procedures & guidelines for overall process enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in SAP PP/MM Module is mandatory, along with proficiency in Excel & Power BI tool and relevant manufacturing industry knowledge.
  • 8-12 years of experience in MRP Controller Role/Planning function.
  • B.Tech /B.E in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with experience in large-scale manufacturing MNC is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills.
